Who are Continental Tyres?

The Continental brand has stood for high quality German engineering and advanced tyre technology since 1871. With one in four new cars produced in Europe being equipped with Continental tyres, Continental is today one of the world's leading tyre manufacturers.

The range of tyres manufactured and supplied includes car, van and truck tyres, tyres for motorcycles and bicycles as well as tyres for industrial vehicles, such as forklift trucks.

Continental's two main brands are Continental and Uniroyal. Historically Uniroyal was the strongest of these two brands in the UK but this is now marketed as a second premium brand (positioned just below Continental). The Uniroyal brand continues to stress its historical marketing strength as "the rain tyre".
